The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra and the Southeast Iowa Band, two premiere regional music ensembles based at Iowa Wesleyan University, are seeking talented musicians interested in performing.
The Music Director/Conductor of both groups, Robert McConnell, urges those interested in being considered for either membership or as a substitute player to contact him to set up an audition. The orchestra has performing opportunities in all the string sections, horns, oboes, and piccolo. The band has more flexible instrumentation and players are urged to contact us.
Both groups have a mission of providing high quality performing opportunities for musicians that live in southeast Iowa and the tri-state area.
